This handy universal kit works equally well for pistols, rifles and shotguns. Accessories are neatly packed into a rugged soft-sided case that attaches easily to a belt or fits compactly into a box or bag. Contains all necessary accessories except for brushes, with plenty of added room for things like Hoppe's silicone cloth and cleaning brushes. I had to purchase the Hoppe's Boresnake seperately because i own a 40cal S&W chambered handgun... Sadly (and oddly) their kits that are very similar to this one don't come for the 40cal size. I would recommend this kit and buy the Boresnake seperately. It's got plenty of room for all the basics. I purchased the Boresnake and shoved it into the bottom pouch (the item picture has wipes sticking out of the pouch). Behind the oils there is another pouch, I moved the rods, handle, and pieces to that back pocket and placed a Hoppe's Nylon Utility Brush in the middle slot (where the rods are shown being stored in the product picture). I just put the wipes into a small ziplock bag and laid them flat on top of the oils, and then I even bought an oil wipe/cloth and placed that in it's bag on top of the wipes that came with it. It still folds up and stays closed with no problems (obviously fuller looking, and stuffed). But it holds it all, and that is basically all you need. It's small, and great for when you travel. If your going to shoot and not going home to clean it, your looking at the perfect thing. I camp and hunt on the weekends and sometimes go out of state, this is perfect. Just need to spend a few extra bucks on the other things and your set! I'd recommend this.
