Do not see much difference between this and other Birchwood Casey blueing products, it takes more than one coat to get a dark blue. Don't expect much, and you will be less likely to be disappointed.

I used the Super Blue from Birchwood Casey to touch up the matte black Armory Kote on a pistol and it matched almost perfectly. I also used to it on a K98 german rifle and it was was pretty good there as well. Simple clean the surface, dab on Super Blue with a Q-Tip and let it sit for about 30 seconds and wipe off the excess. I applied several times to get a good color match.

I completely re blued my gun and i really like the results. One coating was dark enough for me . I just applied the gun bluing with a q tip and wiped it clean after 30 seconds. I will definately buy more when i run out of it.
