Baby earmuffs! May 26, 2009
By C. Mellinger These earmuffs are fantastic! We took our 4-month-old to a hockey game, and he cried when we took him into the stands, even before the scoring started. (Luckily, his grandma was along for that one, so she enjoyed playing with him in the hallways for the rest of the game.) We bought these earmuffs, wondering if they would be any help for a small baby. But they seemed to fit great, and B. didn't respond to the noise at ALL the next time we took him to a game---and this was the playoffs :) He seemed perfectly happy when they were on, and didn't give any reaction when the crowd noise hit deafening: the home team scored 4 goals, and he was happy the whole time, even sleeping through the last one.
I don't know how they would work for a firing range, etc., but I would highly recommend them for small kids at a sporting event. Also, I can just get them over my own (smallish) head, so I bet they will last him a long time before growing out of them.

Works fine Jun 03, 2008

I own 6 models of ear protection (1 AO Safety and 5 Peltor). This pair is is built like a Peltor H9A but with a smaller head band for smaller kid-heads - and says AO Safety on it...maybe that is the same company now, I don't know. Anyway, it is better quality that the red AO Safety 19 or 20 dB model I own that I dispise for the inability to easily get the two ear cups apart and oriented in the correct direction. There is also a pink model similar to this one that I own for pink-loving kids. I recommend these if you have kids that are around noisy activities.

a must have for kids w/sensory/noise defensive Mar 31, 2010
By C. Aandahl I have a child w/"severe autism".
He is VERY noise defensive.
We have tried all sorts of noise canceling headphones and these are the only ones he likes.
The other ones squeeze his head too much.
He wear them ALL the time.
These are the same headphones they use in school

Nice earmuffs Jun 30, 2008
By M. Wilson I bought 2 pairs of these and I really like them. My 1 yr old daughter loves just wearing them around. My 2 yr old plays drums, as does his dad, so they wear their ear muffs whenever they are playing.
Shipping was quick.

Too small for kids...more for toddlers or infants Jun 30, 2011
By M. Nixon I don't have a issue with the quality of the product. It's just not for young children. My son is 6 years old but he's small for his age. These earmuff's were too small for him. If you have an infant or maybe a 2 year old these will probably fit fine. The adult earmuffs adjusted to the smallest setting fit both my 6 year old and 8 year old just fine...which is the best value since the whole family can wear them.
