 Poor quality case Dec 22, 2009

I ordered this case as a gift for my husband and was greatly disappointed. The varnish was peeling and the wood was warped and coming up in strips on the outside. The felt was falling out as it had not been glued in correctly and was not sized correctly. The case looked unfinished with rough edges. My case came from a company called Efunctional.com and the return was EXTREMELY difficult, taking days and many emails for them to approve my return.

It is described as "This is a very nice case and wellworth the money." and simply put, it is not. It is a cheap budget chips case made with cheap hardware, unfinished wood and poorly cut and glued in very thin felt. If I cared about what the case looked like I would be made and return it. But for $42 (including s/h), it's ok...no better than ok, but ok. Anyone who pays $80 for this should be very very angry.

This chip case is very high quality. Fit and finish is perfect. Handle fasteners and hinges are very sturdy. I was very pleasantly surprised with the value. Looks much nicer than the aluminum cases that have cheap dividers. Storage area under ship trays is very functional.
