These were bought as a gift so I only saw them briefly before packing and shipping them. They looked as pretty as they had in the picture but, of course, I didn't try them on. As a gift, I would have liked a small pamphlet with a description explaining their origin. I could have printed out the online description but did not have a printer available at the time. A typed description in an email wasn't quite the same. The recipient seemed pleased with them.
