Great knife for your keychain May 12, 2007
By M. Tuttle

I bought this SOG knive because I needed a small cutting tool to carry on my keychain. As with all SOG knives, the quality is great and I expect many years of use from this simple tool. The only thing I would change is to make it a locking blade.

dull and disapI Jan 01, 2011
By anvil I've been a loyal SOG customer for years and figured I couldn't go wrong with this knife. I did. As another reviewer mentioned, this knife is exceedingly dull out of the box-to the point where it is dangerous. Problem is the blade angle doesn't lend itself to easy sharpening and material is so cheap that it's a waste of time. I agree that a cheap hardware store knife would be not only better value, but actually a better knife.
I still love my other SOG products but this one is a bust.

fits on a keychain nicely, but blade was lackluster Sep 09, 2011
By Chinaman101 This is my EDC on my keychain, because I hate a bulky keychain. If you want a size comparison, it's roughly the length and thickness of a house key. It's handy in a pinch if I need to cut something, but the blade is pretty dull out of the box, and the tanto style is frustrating sometimes (the angle I prefer to cut at happens to put the upper edge parallel to the cutting surface, and combined with the dullness, it sometimes just slides along without cutting in. might just be user error).
If you're looking for a minimalist folder this does the trick, but if you're looking for a functional knife, I'd go elsewhere.

Broke after moderate use Aug 17, 2010
By Reviewer S. The pin that holds the blade to the handle snapped in half after I had only subjected the knife to moderate use. For the money, I expect something capable of taking a beating - and this knife didn't. Waste of money.

WOW is it small Apr 02, 2010
By ChefHDAN Bought to replace a small Spyderco keychain knife that I've worn out. Unit is very thin and cannot be opened one handed as my Spyderco could. Handle cutouts have some sharp edges that are slightly uncomfortable in grip. Too small for what I wanted, but a nice knife, it'll go in a drawer and get little use, still looking for the small Spyderco.
