1Deni Freshlock-poor quality-get what you pay for  Sep 21, 2008
By Joseph A. Mellaci
In using the deni freshlock unit with their bags I have found that you get what you pay for. Within 48hrs., I found air had made its way into the bags. tried it over and over same results. so much for vacuum sealing .

1The worst vacuum sealer I have ever owned  Jun 18, 2007
By Avid Chef "2diehappy"
I own several Deni products. This is the most dissapointing. It doesn't vacuum all the air out. I even returned it for a replacement & I expierenced the same problem. This is going into the trash & I'm getting another FoodSaver.

1Didn't listen to bad reviews, but should have  Nov 03, 2009
By G. Ronkaitis
In spite of the poor reviews, I thought I would take my chances with this item because of Amazon's great return policy. I should have listened to the the reviews. It didn't vacuum straight out of the box, and I returned it immediately.

1Absolute garbage! Complete waste of money and time.  Oct 04, 2010
By Spotopolis
I picked this up for $25, knowing it wouldn't be industrial strength, but I figured it would do what it claims.

This thing is TERRIBLE. You might as well take $25 out of your wallet and flush it down the toilet. Or, better yet, send it to me!

I tried repeatedly to seal dried apples and some grapes. The vacuum is very finicky and takes quite a few times to get it to work, and even then it's really weak. I could live with that, but 20 minutes later, the seal is gone and it's as loose as if I just put them in a sandwich bag. I tried another roll to make sure I didn't have a bad roll. I re-read the instructions to make sure it wasn't "user error" and tried over 30 times, and EVERY SINGLE BAG lost its seal. I even tried sealing a bag within a bag and that didn't work either.

I wish I could give no stars or even negative stars. I can't believe a product this shoddy can be legally sold. Don't waste your time with this one.

I just purchased a FoodSaver V3440 which is five times the price, but it works EVERY TIME and is a pleasure to use. I wish I would have done my homework and gotten the good one first.

By Mr. Big Head "Mr. Big Head"
Bought it, it fell apart. Threw it in the garbage. Tried to get help from the manufacturer and they ignored me. Be warned....
