Deni Deep Fryer Snack Size May 14, 2007
By M. Banks I just love this cute little deep fryer. It is a perfect size for 1 0r 2 people. It beats having to heat up the big deep fryers just to have some french fries or chicken nuggets. It's also easy to strain the oil out, wipe the fryer out and pour the oil back in.

So far so good. Feb 10, 2008

I was a little worried about the quality but so far this has been a great unit. Perfect for small jobs. There are only two of us and this unit does the job perfectly.
Edit: Broke. Lasted 6 months. We used it a lot but still... Maybe we got a lemon but it is only worth 3 or 4 stars now.

Great little work horse. Mar 02, 2008
By Gail Smith I have a larger fryer and it works just fine. I don't use it much because it is big, bulky and a pain to clean. This little guy is great for one or two people. It doesn't take up much space so I leave it on the counter. The adjustable thermostat lets me cook things at the correct temperature so they come out great, just like the big one. When I need to clean it, it is an easy task. The big one is fine for when I have people over and I'm cooking for 5 or six people but for one or two people, this little one is great. I highly recommend it even if you do have the larger deep fryer like I do.

Disappointing Apr 03, 2008
By Michael B. Holloway After 6 five star reviews this sounded like the perfect fryer. I must have gotten a lemon. My fryer never got oil hotter than 335 degrees. It did not start re-heating the oil after food (12-1/8" cut french fries) was put in until the temperature dropped to 289 degrees. The result, of course, was greasy fries and a big disappointment. The above results where the result of eight trials using a digital thermometer and 12 or less fries. I felt so bad about this review that I went back this morning and tried again. With a little jiggeling of the thermosate I got the temperature up to 360 degrees and put in 6 sweet potato chips. A little better, but the temperature still dropped to 310 degrees before starting to recover and then only reached 320 before the chips started to burn around the edges. This goes back this afternoon!

Cute little fryer Mar 01, 2008
By A. Andes I bought this for my fiance as a Valentine's present, and he adores it! Now he can help in the kitchen without getting in the way or ruining dinner. :) It works wonderfully, and the first thing he made was country fried steak, which was AMAZING! So yes, this is very recommended.
