Hi, the canteen I purchased arrived in perfect condition, and only took 6 days to arrive to the uk from the usa, I cant fault the service it was excellant. The only minor fault was the colour that was delivered, it was'nt the one pictured but a green and blue blanket cover in a tarten pattern,but thats a minor detail, it holds very nearly 2l of water and as long as the caps tight it wont leak.
I would just like to finish by thanking amazon and the horsetack company for fantastic service .

I am VERY disappointed in this product. I suspected because of the price, that it was not made in the USA (but it doesn't specify this anywhere in the product description). For any amount of money I would pay for this item, I would expect it to last longer than 20 minutes! Blanket material is very light and cheap, and pulled away from the body of the canteen almost immediately. The strap chafed on the metal slots in the band around the canteen and chewed it up so quickly, that I could not depend on it being able to hold the weight of the water for the duration of our trail ride! I noticed that all of the reviews for this product were positive, but also get the impression that this item is only for occasional use for most. My wife and I regularly go for 4-6 hour trail rides on our horses in the Hill County of Texas (at or above 100 degrees F for the last couple of months) usually 2-3 times weekly and I depend on having a reliable source of water storage that I can attach to my saddle. This ain't it! On the plus side, Amazon was very pleasant to work with in returning this item for a refund. I will continue to do business with Amazon, and any other company that sells made-in-USA products that are worth a dang! I would appreciate it if Amazon and other online companies would consider including the country of manufacture in the product descriptions.

This is a great canteen for the money. It's made of plastic (which is fine..won't corrode like aluminum) fabric covered on 2 sides with a metal band circling it. I'm not sure as yet if the metal band is rustproof. Holds 2 quarts and doesn't leak! The 'Blanket' material is very thin but works for keeping the contents cool. Great for emergencies and occasional camping/hiking/fishing and hunting.

This canteen is a great canteen! It has a very rugged plastic design with a metal trim for aesthetic purposes and possibly more protection. Worth the money!

I ordered this for my great nephew for Christmas and he LOVED it. It came new in the package just like it said it would. Now he can not wait to go hunting with his dad. Thanks Amazon Shawn
