This prouduct is great.i bought it in 2008 and have had it on my desk ever sience then.It makes a great look at item,and i strongly reckomend it. Im shure it would fire if you had the right tools, but im not really in to that kind of stuff. I like guns that use real bullets. this item looks great. It is 12 inches long and 4 1/2 inches tall. The rod on the side detaches to load it(for those of you who are going to fire it).It has a solid brass barrel.Made with real wood and all real metal.Overall this is a awsome proudct.

This little model cannon more than lives up to its advertising.
It is constructed of wood and heavy metal, and reproduced with great detail.
The wheels, which do work, even have metal rims just as the original cannons did.
Another nice touch is a lanyard rope, used for firing this type of Civil War cannon (reproduced in cotton twine) that is attached to its bracket on the wood behind the barrel.
This is one of those delightful items that more than lives up to its advertising.
I'm so glad I bought it.
