I bought this case in order to transport a shotgun from my parents' home in Miami to my home in San Antonio. The case itself is well made, but the locking mechanism is absolute junk. It would open when coded and I had to go purchase a TSA belt to secure the weapon for flight. The case itself held up to typical airline abuse with just a few scratches. This product would have been better if it had provisions for padlocks instead of cheap combo latches.
