beware...you may not be getting a new chair Apr 12, 2006
By Chilltownguy I was disappointed in this purchase. I purchased this chair for my wife who is a massage therapist. it was sent with two cuts in the arm rest that were obviously repaired (two shiny spots over the slits). There were also screw marks on the headpiece were it is tightened.
Comfort is also only 2 stars. either the seat is too flush with the frame or the chest rest is two big...either way, you get the feeling that you are going to slip off.
it's a good value if you need a chair. however, i do not see this as a chair that you would want if you were a serious career massage therapist.

Great investment, economy build May 27, 2008
By Phillip Shero Bought this chair because it was the cheapest. I love that I can leave it set up in the living room or bedroom. I bought a massage table a few years ago and love it, too (lots of husband points). But the chair is quicker, and I use it more often because it's out.
If I were buying again, I would buy a more expensive one. This one is made by Schwinn and uses a thin-gauge square metal tubing. You can tell that they used the least expensive components (like the quick clamps you see on bike wheels--used here to lock the head and arm rests into position). Still, it has held up well and I have no complaints. But I don't let the kids climb on it, as there are some parts that seem less sturdy to me.
I highly recommend a massage chair as a marriage builder and stress-buster. This is a good one, if you want to save money.

Not a bad buy. Mar 12, 2007

I really only have one consern about this chair. The seat is not very secure to me. When I tried the chair out for the first time, I guess my leg bumped the seat and the bar that holds the seat up fell and the seat collapsed. I was very nervous when people at the event were getting on the chair. The seat did collapsed twice during the two day event. Overall, I am happy with the chair. It adjusted to everyone pretty easy. I just wish the seat was more secure.

Don't waste you money May 15, 2009
By L. Parker If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I opened it, adjusted it, has a friend sit in it and the thing practically fell apart. Wouldn't hold position, very cheap materials used. I would be scared to put a client on this. Sent it back and go a full refund.

Built poorly Oct 15, 2008
By Karen D. Forloines

I received my chair very quickly. The shipping was great. My problem with the product is that it is poorly built. I used my chair for one event and I had 2 clients that almost pinched their fingers because the armrest wouldn't lock no matter how tight I made it. Also the face rest doesn't adjust very well for different sized clients. I will return it for a refund.
