Great for Napping Feb 24, 2008

La Chaise Folding Recliner - Black With Tan Mesh
This is the most comfortable outdoor recliner I've ever sat in. It's not the most practical because it's still rather large when it's folded. It doesn't make the best chair for sitting up to eat or sit around a campfire, but if you want to just sit and relax or recline for an outdoor nap, this is the chair to get. Very comfortable and sturdy.

Very disapointed... Jul 18, 2008
By Rick Kimery My wife and I ordered 2 of the Pacific Outdoors 17-LC120La Chaise Folding Recliners and were disapointed that one of them was defective right out of the box. One of the rivets that hold the support arms was shipped with it loose in the box. I pulled the second one out and could feel the stress of my weight bearing down on the fragile frame. I weigh 260 lbs, and the chair is suppose to hold 300 lbs but after seeing the other chairs problem, I decide to return them both.

Great Comfort, Can Rust If Left Outside & Cheap Details Jan 09, 2009
By Prince Valium I sat in this chair at a friend's house and then had to get one for my own backyard (I like to watch shooting stars and this makes it much more comfortable late at night to sit and yet look up).
While the chair really makes you feel like you're floating due to the way it fully wraps underneath you, thus spreading your weight, the steel grommets all along the sides immediately started rusting!
The chair CANNOT be left outside unless you cover it or move it inside. This is really a problem since I just want to leave it there to make my life easy; now, it looks kind of ugly with all the rusted grommets, though the chair itself is just fine. Speaking of which, the armrests use some cheap soft-touch padding with adhesive underneath; one of these was applied slightly crooked (someone can't just lay a sticky pad down correctly?) and I'll survive with that as well. I guess everything too-good-to-be-true has faults as well.

Delivered on time, box was in good shape, wrapped it, gave it; recipient pulled it out of the box and pulled it open and sat in it! No assembly, no problems.

Pacific Outdoors 17-LC120 La Chaise Folding Recliner
I purchased the LC-120 to use on a camping trip in spite of the reviews that mentioned rust. It is easily the most comfortable folding chair I have ever sat in. It lends itself readily to afternoon naps and the mesh back allows air to flow through.
I took one star away for three reasons ... 1)The reviews that mention rusty grommets are right on the button 2) There is no place to set a cool drink and 3)The rubber on the armrests has already started to peel away. These things I can live with for the time being because I pack plenty of tables when camping, I store the chair in my garage, and the chair is too comfortable to care about the peeling arm rest.
