I found this tool through google and amazon, but I actually purchased it at a local automotive supplier (b/c I needed it right away). It is very simple design, but more than adequate for the task. Easy to use, and I like that this tool and clamp combination allows you to be very specific with how much tension you want to apply to the band. It is also very easy, once you reach the desired tension, to fold the tool forward to bend the band into place, then slide tool off and cut and fold/hammer. I even found it easy to lightly fold, remove tool, test tightness, and if necessary, reinstall tool on band. A+

This thing works great. It's a tool, and does what it is supposed to, what more can you ask for? The construction is rugged, heavy guage steel and the functioning of the tool is perfect.

Great tool that works. Use a torque wrench on the tightening spool and get precise clamping. Buy your bulk clamping materials at McMaster-Carr. They sell the strapping in 100ft rolls and the strap clips in qtys of 100.

A great addition to the shade tree mechanics toolbox, I live outside of town so having to travel into town, waste gas, this was the best option tool works great.

Worked well for the job it did. I did not need anything too pricey so this fit the purpose.
