Though it states for 1990-2005, the model years for the MX-5 Miata actually are divided between 89-07, 09-05 and the floor plans, hence the mats, are also different. In my 1989 Miata, the driver's side mat curls behind the accelerator pedal at times and i find myself pulling the mat back towards the seat for clearance. The top of the mat, by the pedals, also bend at an awkward angle, hence producing this bunching by the accelerator. Ive tried swapping the sides of the mats to putting the mat so that the bottom extends to under the driver's seat. It has become apparent that this is meant for the MK2 or second gen Miata and not for the MK1 or MK1.5.
It has done well to keep dirt and liquids from reaching the main carpet however the awkward bends and repeated bunching behind the pedal really doesnt do this product justice. Would suggest the seller correctly market these mats for the correct model years... I do not have money to toss around for another set of all weather mats so i have no choice but to CUT these mats so they do not become a driving hazard on the road.

We are happy with the mats. I ordered them for our mazda miata. they seem durable and fit well and are waterproof.

I bought these for my older Miata and they fit like a glove. No worries about them getting stuck beneath pedals, and they keep the floors spotless because they completely cover them. Excellent.
